Chicken Egg Hatching Guide
-
Incubator should be set up and ready at least 12-24 hours prior to putting eggs in.
-
After your eggs are delivered it is best to let them sit pointy side down for 12-24 hours at room temperature before you place them in the incubator
-
Incubator temperature should be set to 99.5 degrees and be at 45-55% humidity.
-
Make sure your incubator has an automatic egg turner, if not you will need to hand turn at least four times a day.
-
I highly recommend using a secondary thermometer and hydrometer (digital) inside the incubator to check the levels.
-
Candle eggs to determine fertility on day 6
-

-
